Hiking
You can always "Stroll" along the beach at any beach, but hiking involves trails and rougher terrain.
The Beach Cities Health Distrct has designated four scenic walking trails which all begin at the Redondo Beach Main Library, located at 303 N.Pacific Coast Highway. You can also start from any point along the trails; just follow the Redondo "City Walks" street signs. Free parking is available Monday through Saturday at the Library. For Library hours call 1-310-318-0675.
Real Hiking in L.A. County is available by Malibu, Santa Monica, San Pedro and Palos Verdes Peninsula,
Hiking in Orange County is available inCorona Del Mar, Laguna Beach, South Laguna, Capistrano Beach, and Catalina Island, especially at State Park Beaches.
